Boarding schools across the world can be expensive. However, the long term investment outweighs the short term costs when it comes to learning English as an alternative level and the edge another language brings to people in business, communications and travel throughout the world.
Sending your child on a one-year exchange program to learn English like a native speaker, is of course not affordable for everyone. However, if it is in your budget, Canada is highly recommended.

Although British Columbia does not rank their schools, all Canadian Provinces participate in the PISA exams, conducted by the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) with Grade 10 students in 70 + countries of the world. These assessment are in Reading, Science and Math and take place every three years since the early 2,000s. BC has done excellent over the years earning 1st in Reading, 2nd in Science and 6th in Math. Canadian host families are nice
Our host families are invested in making the student’s stay as comfortable and supported as possible, and will be located in close proximity to their school of choice. The host family will pick-up and drop-off their student from the airport, give three meals a day, and a private a room with a work space for homework. Canadian host families are known as welcoming and generous people. While students are integrating into their new Canadian community and schools, the host family opens their homes and shares their lives to give international students a secure and stable environment.
Cost effective
Exchange programs are also more cost effective compared to private boarding schools which cost between $26,000- $52,000 /year. Our exchange programs are offered on the lower end of the scale.
